The ReignMakers High Five

High Five ReignMakers

Welcome to the first ever hammer strike of ReignMakers Forge. The main podcast, Empowering the Damascus Man, will be released every other Monday along with a workbook. Five hammerstrikes will then be released starting Wednesday to keep you engaged for those 2 weeks.

The ReignMakers High Five is a verbal and physical greeting. It is a bonding tool to celebrate victory. Though the typical high five gesture is losing ground to the popular fist bump, we accept both as a way to connect and convey the high five.

The High Five is a lot more to us than a greeting. It is also the symbol for our mission.  It is the Anvil in our forge. It reminds us of our purpose as men of God.

You see, The High Five is based on the Shema from Deuteronomy 6:4. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength. We add Jesus' contribution from Matthew 22:39  “love your neighbor as well.”

Terms can often lose their meaning. Words like love, soul, serve and even heart can have so many interpretations. To combat this and to align with our forge identity, we modified the terms heart, soul, and strength to the terms honor, forge, and impact.

So that makes the points of the High Five: Obey God, Love Man, Honor Forge Impact

Today's workbook lesson dives deeper into the high Five. Check it out.

High Five.

Oh yeah. It is also a concluding statement, sending declaration, and farewell.
